Latest Amazon Purchases

Hey everyone. We are here today linking up with Tanya from The Other Side of the Road and sharing our latest Amazon purchases. One of my NY Resolutions, which you can read about here, is to minimize the amount of 'stuff' we have. Less shopping = less stuff. Sad, I know!!! I still want to share our very short list of latest purchases with you, and at the end of the post I will share some of my 'want' items.

A 5 lb bag of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda, hahahaha! I absolutely love baking soda and we use it for both baking, deodorizing and cleaning. We go through a lot of baking soda, so when I saw this 5 lb bag for only $3, I knew I had to grab some. This particular bag is normally 7$ on Amazon, so if you're in need, grab some now while it's over half off!

One of our latest issues with Ella's sleep is that she loses pacifiers out of her crib and then is hysterical when she can't find them. Her bumper that we she was an infant is a mesh liner and doesn't help with the lost-paci problem. We currently roll up a bunch of blankets and line her crib with them, but it looks messy and Ella's been pulling the blankets all over. Her risk of SIDS is much lower now, but it still worries me, so I don't love all the blankets in there. The easiest solution would be to just get rid of her pacifier all-together, but I'm just not ready yet. I was recommended this crib bumper and thought it would be a good solution to our problem right now. I figure when we are ready to give up the paci, we can find a friend having a baby to give this bumper to. This would obviously not be safe for a newborn baby or any child under 1 when the risk of SIDS is high.

We decided to start getting re-chargable batteries and I am so happy we did. BAtteries are expensive and it is so wasteful to keep buying and tossing them as they are used. With all of Ella's musical toys, we opted for these. We bought the charger on Amazon as well and both have been good to us.

I just ordered a couple make up items to try! I haven't received them yet, but I will share what I got!

I got this foundation brush that I saw on another blogger's site, and can't wait to give it a try. It was a great deal as well.

I got this foundation powder made by Dermablend. I have a skin condition that affects the pigment in my face, and this is supposed to be one of the best foundations for this condition. I will give it a try and share what I think later!

And as for on my 'want list'

I really want to get Ella a couple of these rompers for the Summer. I am going to hold off on getting anything until warmer weather, because we'll have a better idea of Ella's size at that time. She has a lot of dresses and shorts that will fit her, but we'll be running low in the romper department.

My current re-usable coffee cups are still holding together okay. They have been used and washed so much that they are starting to get worn and leak at the lid, but for now I am holding off on replacement. When I do replace, I want to go for something more eco-friendly, like this bamboo-fiber reusable coffee cup. It's a great price at only 8$.

We used to have these mesh produce bags that we would take to the grocery store to avoid using plastic, and I loved them. We had a water leak and they got ruined, so we are in need of some new ones. I like the different sizes of these bags, and I LOVE that we would be eliminating our need for plastic bags. These might have to go in my cart right now...

That's all we are sharing today on our latest Amazon Purchases/Amazon Wish List.

We'll see you back tomorrow to share a glimpse into our day! (I am documenting a day in the life post today and failing so far!) Happy Tuesday!
