What's in my... storage closet!

Hi everyone! Long time no see. My blogging game is off because my entire schedule is off... I'm sure you all feel the same and know exactly what I'm talking about. I really want to try to get back to normal as far as blogging regularly. Thank goodness for my friend Adrienne, who once again emailed me to remind me about today's link up. She is a busy Mom of 3 and I am not sure how she juggles it all, and still remembers to remind me about our link up, LOL. Check out her blog here to meet her and read about her life as a SAHM of 3.

Every last Thursday of the month, we share a little peek into the smaller spaces and things in our lives. Last month I shared what's in my purse, and the month before I shared what's in my diaper bag.
Here are the other topics for the rest of the month.

Today we are sharing what's in our storage closets!!!
Now, I have mentioned before that I live in a very small apartment. While the space itself is tight, I am actually grateful for the amount of closets we have here. While our 'storage closet' is not huge, considering the size of our total space, we are lucky to have a hall closet at all.

Here is our very tiny hallway storage closet. I pack it as full as I can without it looking too unorganized!

It's not pretty, but hey, it functions well!

On the top shelf I keep paper towel and overstock pantry items. You can't see it, but behind the paper towels is a case of canned green beans and a giant case of ritz crackers... two of Ella's favorites. The next shelf down is where we store our toilet paper and barred soap.

The middle shelf is home to our towels, wash clothes, extra sheets etc.

We had a lot of towels in the laundry on this day, but usually that shelf is crammed full.

On the bottom shelves we store a lottttt of stuff.

The second to last shelf is where I keep:
-Oral health products
-Medicine
-Feminine hygiene products
-First aid products
-Extra light bulbs
-Tool set

The very bottom shelf is where we store all of our cleaning supplies.

Nothing too exciting and crazy going on in our storage closet. I feel like right now this closet would be worth a million dollars with all that toilet paper and Clorox wipes, haha. As far as storage, I love using baskets, plastic containers and jars- anything that can make the space look and feel more organized! If your storage closet needs a little help, I found some nice organization items on Amazon...

These glass jars would be great for housing bars of soap.

This set of baskets would be a great place to store hand towels, and extra linens.

Containers like this set of 6 are perfect for housing those extra random things you keep at home. We use them for our extra hygiene supplies- razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, floss etc. We also put less used vitamins or medicines in these containers. They are almost half off right now, so if you're in the mood to re-organize, grab some

If you want to link up with us, grab our graphic and here is the list of topics for the rest of the year... I am particularly excited to look in everyone's pantry and fridge! :P

Thank you for checking out my post today. I hope to be back tomorrow to share a Friday Favorites post with you all!

  1. We buy in bulk too otherwise I would be at the store every week buying toilet paper. Thank you for your kind words. If it weren't for trying to stay on some sort of schedule I would go completely nuts. My time writing my blog is really a break for me.

  2. With 5 of us we definitely buy in bulk and I am so thankful that between our large pantry, a couple of good sized bathroom closets, and our laundry room I have plenty of space to store all the non-food items we stock up on. Though I am scouting around for toilet paper so that we can buy a 4 pack here and there and keep our supply going..
