Favorite Spring/Easter Books

Good morning! Happy Friday. We decided to switch it up today, and instead of sharing our traditional favorites from our week, we wanted to share some of our favorite Easter / Spring books instead. Even though Easter is only a couple of weeks away, it's not too late to order some of these books for your little one's Easter basket, or for your own book collection at home.

My coworkers recently purchased this bookshelf off of Mia's registry, and it's such an amazing gift. Both girls are going to be able to take advantage of this lovely book shelf for many years to come.

Here are some of our favorite Spring / Easter books...

Bloom Bloom by April Sayre - A beautiful picture book to celebrate the start of Spring and all things that bloom.

The Easter Story by Patricia Pingry- A short children's book to explain the true reason behind Palm Sunday and Easter.

Where's the Ladybug by Nosy Crow- This is a cute life-the-flap book that Ella has loved since she was much younger.

Home for a Bunny by Margaret Wise Brown- A little golden book about a sweet bunny looking for a home.

The Story of the Easter Bunny by Katherine Tegen - An imaginative tale of the Easter bunny.

Easter Fun (touch and feel) by Roger Priddy - A touch and feel book which is perfect for including sensorial exploration during reading.

Easter Surprise by Roger Priddy- A sweet story about the surprises that Easter brings. Ella loves the rhyming in this one.

Will You Be My Sunshine by Julia Lobo- Such a sweet story! It's not necessary a Spring or Easter book but it's a story of sunshine and love between a Mommy mouse and baby mouse. We just love this one so I had to include it.

I Love You, Little Chick by Danielle McLean - A sweet board book of a Momma chick celebrating the beginning of Spring with her baby.

Easter Egg Hunt by Make Believe Ideas ltd.- This is another board book that involves 'touch and feel' which is great for sensorial exploration while reading. This story also involves looking for various Easter eggs in the pages, so it's her first type of 'I spy' book and she loves it so much!

Thanks for stopping by. We will be back on Sunday to share our newest activity shelf rotation for Easter,  as well as a post on Monday to share our weekend with you. See you then! xoxo

    1. Check out kidsbooks.com! We got a ton for super cheap... there was a sale and most of them were only 1.50-2$ each. I was so happy and plan to order some for Spring/Summer too!
